The Solar Powered Home of Potter’s Hand Balm
This is where we live. When production is underway, the house fills with very pleasant aromas, despite our efforts to corral them all into these little tins:
On the roof are photovoltaic (“solar”) panels. There are no wires attaching us to the electrical grid. Does this make our hand balm better? Well, no. But it is fun and satisfying, and maybe contributes to the self-sufficient attitude that inspired us to make a better, less expensive balm for ourselves (and now for you).
The little building with its back to us in the picture is the wood shed. The little man with the spy glass is our son. I think he sees a squirrel.
The siding is a little rough, but the house is sturdy and comfortable. Someday we might have a facility like this one:
